Faded Scars Poem by Unwritten Soul

Faded Scars

Rating: 4.9

October blows wind again
Reminscence sorrow to be felt again
Years after years I still have it
Because how can we wipe the tears
If the reasons are like clouds in the sky
Way too much to wipe all of them out
That is so far for hand to reach out

Way to hurt is easy and many
Not necessary on skin but may be underneath
Like a tall hill or hidden valley
Hi and low, this feeling it can be that extremes

We all climbers in this life
Searching for the highest comfort
Wandering on mountain of emotions
Till we learned and be stronger
Mistakes we do sometimes
Reason why we slipped
Then cause us sometimes hit the ground
Keep climbing with no end
Though failed but still to climb
Racing with time till our breathe end
Because age never wait so life is to move on

We all climbers with different paths
Which one we pick, risks still under the shoes
Found tears flow like river at the hills
From crying eyes that hardly be dried
We will be alright someday,
We will be alright
I know because I'm human like you
I know because sometimes i feel it too
Yes, some kind words may whisper- Be strong
But this stubborn heart keep enduring
Some moving mind may persuading- Move on
But past to blame to keep reminding

This windy eve recall past experience again
Fallen to the darker valley in this mountain
I still survive and much stronger now
It just autumn wind wont hurt me anymore
Let it only reminds me how strong i was

We are like the armies to protect our lives
Armies without honored scars on skin
Though bullets stick to memories
Healed but wounded at hearts still

Way to heal is rare and with time
After all we are not the only one
Because everybody falls
Dont want to be one of who giving up
'Coz why we do afraid
When we already in fears
Nothing can scared us anymore
Let's just hunting to be better

Autuminal wind of October
With the raindrops in the wind
Are tears in my invicible strength
And after fall let hold each other hands
And let we together stand strong again

My faded scars
Proved me strong
...I'm more than a survivor
...I'll be a winner

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The moody atmosphere in this October, gray colored sky with cloudy cotton in the air transferred some feeling of being low but still content...i just love to be lost in this feeling and it indeed inspires me to keep writing...Maybe people say it just a random thought...but i still feel it that it comes from my sincerity of my feeling under this subconciousness...Perhaps it wont sounds good but still it is my choice to post it here, blending nature and thought in this lengthy work hahahahaha. Thanks everyone for stopping by...Love all

We are like the armies to protect our lives Armies without honored scars on skin Though bullets stick to memories Healed but wounded at hearts still.........yes, no scar still wound at heart. Our faded scars prove us strong and winner. A beautiful poem painted nicely and touchingly and it has been posted here amazingly. Thanks.

Four lines of hard-won wisdom close this insightful poem and these four lines are so fitting for their task. I wonder at those who have no scars at the end of their lives- - are they fooling themselves, hiding their own scars ftom themselves? Or have they floated through life on the wings of drugs? Because even if bad things didn't happen to them they will happen to those around us, those in the news, and these scarred people should affect our lives deeply. Anyway, I digress. Love love love your closure- - - - My faded scars Proved me strong ...I'm more than a survivor ...I'll be a winner

Its hard to forget how terrible we stumbled in past, i do feel that pain but i wont consume it as something i should surrender my life journey to be less than beautiful....i still fighting, maybe i have injured much to heal soon but i wont surrender, i just wont even i will be the last one who reach the finished line...in a race of everything wonderful, i just want to have my life...we all be the winners..

Autuminal wind of October With the raindrops in the wind Are tears in my invicible strength And after fall let hold each other hands And let we together stand strong again- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - You definitely have an innate connection with the season of fall. You use its various meanings as a metaphor and you use it well- -like a paintbrush in the hands of an artist.... Thank you for sharing this- -it is well worth the reading and the rereading. Soul, I'm glad you write and share what you write with the rest of us. We are blessed by this.

This is very profound....Scars and hurts do stay with us, shape our journeys through life, and stay with us in memories. There is also that reminder that physical and emotional harm have in common- -that ability to hand us those scars that pave the way of the journey. A great poem.

Time for joy; time for sadness. I read in this poem an invitation to give more room for sadness, so it can come and leave. If we will not press it or get stressed, which might prevent it from leaving, our feelings are as seasonal as the weather, for us to live through, rather than to avoid. Thought provoking poem, Soul.
