Faded Love Poem by Tatyana Anthony

Faded Love

To have been lonely for so long
Not knowing if love still exists
Or does love even love me anymore

It hurts to watch everybody else happy
When i truly know that my smile is only hiding the pain inside

I say I need no one and Im happy by myself
But my heart knows other wise and tries to seek for help

I ignore my feelings and try to stay strong
Even though  my heart is telling me thats wrong

But why should I listen to her again
Last time she got broken
But that doesn't matter, she tries to love one more time
Like nothing ever happened and everything is fine

But I'm in control this time
So i hide her in a metal box
And put bar wires all around
And this time I'm guarantee that she will never be found

Honey, you're not happy because you have the cart before the horse. Love does not have to love you. You have to see love from another stance. Flip the coin, my dear, flip the coin. Read mine - Bloom of Youth - Adeline
