Face. Poem by Lizzy Tomlinson

Face.

Rating: 5.0

Looking in the mirror,
What's that, that I see?
Oh, bloody hell, it is my face,
That's staring back at me.
Two blue eyes, now dulling,
Some wrinkles and crows feet,
(Or might they pass as laughter lines) ,
To people that I meet.
Looking in the mirror,
My face, I wish, was yours,
Then I'd look like some~one different,
When I venture out of doors.

Absolutely wonderful! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this. If you wonder what you look like, ask the people that love you. They see you as you truly are! Peace, Aisha
