Fabulous Beasts

Back in the X Cenozoic
(where X is 'High')
life's large creations
could have outrageous fun with form.

Such as the snaggle-toothed,
long-jawed, tippy-hoof-toed
condylarth predator, the chevrolet.

And the hyaenodontids,
Labidilemur and Macrocranium.

With that type of beast
brought back now,
you'd die half-laughing at least.
