Eyes I Guess Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Eyes I Guess

Eyes I guess

Eyes I guess, are best hooks
Catch prey and put push
To being prey too
She wrote and
I read and
Came
The past memories and
The time in Russia and
Working with UN and
Aref and his wife, and
Daughters, the cheat
And runaway and much more,
And much more…much more

He told me story of first wife
And her death during civil war
Then his child, epilepsy and
Getting new wife and hurdle
To escape Taliban and then
There in Russia

Oh my eyes
You needles
Scratch deep in me
In bones and in my veins
My heart, mind and even
My hairs that stand and stop
And all because I have read
One poem: "To E" by
Sara Teasdale.

Time has come to bow to
Or scoop both of eyes…
