Eyes Poem by RaShawn Ince

Eyes

Is there a world behind our eyes,
Which looks into our soul?
Is there a feeling in our cries,
Which makes our tears glow?
The eyes are a world in its own,
And escapes the world today.
Where death inhabits every home,
And the sky is always grey.
Behind the eyes the world is bright,
And the sky is always blue.
Where the sight of light is in the night.
Where happiness and joy is true.
Everybody has this world.
Everyone falls in line.
Kids, adults, boys and girls.
Even clear to the blind.
This world can be in your heart.
Away from all the lies.
This world will never tear apart.
Right behind you eyes.
