Eyeless Poem by Patti Masterman

Eyeless

The eyeless, romantic clown
Put his head on backwards,
By which he charmed a wandering troop
Of optometrists, with placards.

The trifling, weary gossip
Left her tongue just hanging,
And forgot to mention who got screwed
And whom, said who’s were banging.
