Eye Of The Storm Poem by Aaron(AarionLee) Morris

Eye Of The Storm

Rating: 5.0

stillness bestows upon you
the air is hot and dry
pressure building on your eyes
run, run for your life

winds of a hurricane
blowing needles through trees
the storm is now upon you
you better pray for your life on your knees

your trapped in the Eye Of The Storm
your life flashes before your eyes
your trapped in the eye
in the Eye Of The Storm

not a sound you hear
as you hide down below
waiting for the storm to pass
waiting for the winds to go

water raising high
crashing to the sands
you hope tomorrow will come
your life is in it's hands

pray you'll live through this day
that you'll see tomorrows sun
lying awake in the still of the night
trapped in the Eye Of The Storm
