Extra Jalapeño…2701-2k12

Pick up chips and roll the dice
Some one somewhere will pay the price
Hey! Extra jalapeño and a dollop of spice!

She is so fresh with rounded form
Always in my heart she raises a storm
Returns me the days of my college dorm

Years here with her in my sights
I in my blue suit and she her tights
across the street, homeless plights

on the dot the chopper chops in
amid the music and cacophony din
throws a crown and downs a gin

in studded leathers and tattooed arm
unkempt look and goateed charm?
hows he apart from the biking swarm?

Her smile to me a flakey spread
Her lips may move her inside dead
The goateed tramp turns her head

Animated smile flows from her heart
demeanor changes worlds apart
I left toying with a hardening tart

Throws her tie and opens her hair
shows off a deluge of cascading flair
atop the chopper a gleaming pair

A light poem...in triplet form...really a welcome break from the frequently used couplet form...try your hand in dramatic monologue as well, for you keep the knack of character-delineation...for literature lovers your poems give aesthetic ground, and for language learners they are the ready source of WORD-BUILDING...
