Exposed Poem by Tony Robinson

Exposed

I warm my hand above the flame
Your spirit is a monster I must tame
I give my heart on an open sleeve
Rejection is the burden I carry too deep
Home is the place beyond all sleep
What I give to you, you don’t want to keep
I am the tears you forgot to weep
And the dreams at night you fear to sleep.
