Explosions Poem by Sandra Osborne

Explosions

Rating: 2.1

Artillery shells
Go off in my world,
Explosions since
I was first a girl

Small ones, large ones,
Loud ones too;
And then there’s the ones
Because of you.

It’s like a fire in my soul
Only you can find,
Exploding my dreams
And exploding my mind.

So I wish we were free
To do as we please,
Without all the crawling
On our hands and our knees.

So through explosions we suffer,
Cause they’ll never end
And I will always love you,
My very best friend.
