Experiences On A Cold Winter's Beach Poem by Joshua Lewis White

Experiences On A Cold Winter's Beach

The dark expanse of the ocean in the corner of my eye
The desolate plain of sand
The harsh, cold sea air blows wildly
Seabirds squawk from above, flying
The clouds cover up the weak rays of sun
No boats in the water
As I look out onto the horizon
I contemplate the emptiness of reality
On this bleak plain
I feel alive
