Expendable Poem by O Anna Niemus

Expendable

American soldiers are to war profiteers
and agents of foreign powers expendable
in the grab for oil and in the fearmongering
about religious difference.

The poor are expendable to plasma
companies willing to exploit the dangerous
procedure for profits.

The poor are expendable to pharmaceutical
companies advertising through network
tv for human guinea pigs in trials of
lethal drugs.
