Exodus Poem by Xelam Kan™

Exodus

Rating: 3.2

Flight of the reason and values
left our cultures sterile
and brains barren:
a proven PERILE that takes
man into wilderness.

The evil temptations
(like a gentle breeze)
luring the minds, and carry
souls to the Pluto's shrine.
The innocence of man
has transformed into iniquity,
that digitising his pure romance
(once was in Nature's trance)

From Buddha to Jesus
and from Nile to Olympus;
the 'VISION' that always had enlightened the hearts, now
enthralled by Lucifer's charms...

From Buddha to Jesus and from Nile to Olympus; the 'VISION' that always had enlightened the hearts, now enthralled by Lucifer's charms... _________A lovely but rather forlorn end my friend! ......A lovely use of mythology, we are driving towards our ending doom, aren't we?

Good work with all graphology and parentheses that help here, the similar string of thought has its roots in the soil of Time, and all we undergo in the same situation...i find it a right commentary on the snares we get caught in despite all warnings...thank you for the visit to I Say...No! yes, you said right there!

Great opening lines, packs the full punch and drives home the message, to many pleasures in this world can create a very lacks harem of selfishness, Great use of classical mythology, with Pluto. The closing is stellar.
