Exile Poem by Md. Ziaul Haque

Exile

Was Rama wrong since he obeyed,
The words of Dasharatha, his dad?
And went for that certain forest ahead,
Unaware of the history to be made.

With Rama, Sita was there,
His loyal and dearest life partner,
Rama upheld the principles ever,
As he declined Bharata's offer.

History was waiting like a thief with a shroud on,
Such was and is time's mystery, a future to be known!
