Exceptional Man (Nikkolai)

A man like him was one of a kind
Not too bad and not too kind
Who'll never put you out of his mind
Though he's indeed too hard to find!

Whose vision ain't that complicated
Whose lavish affection, never faded
He, who brings not merely courage
but lead my time naught to spillage

Who'll not leave through thick and thin
Who won't made thee go in spin
He who'll give thee eglantine
and he whose thoughts were keen

But to every law there's an exemption
To aspect mere thee could fix
Yet thine value was her mere exception
Enow, 'twas now thee and her, betwixt!

Poem of the Day

poet Sir Thomas Wyatt

My lute awake! perform the last
Labour that thou and I shall waste,
And end that I have now begun;
For when this song is sung and past,
My lute be still, for I have done.
