Except Me Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Except Me

Those eyes carry the depth of the ocean,
I saw that looking at you,
The world watches as you pass by,
The smile you wear, couldnt begin to maginify how beautiful you are,
Those eyes carry the depth of the ocean,
Those dark brown halo's that glow once the sun gleams across them,
I saw that looking at you,
The fierce fire that ignites once they connect with yours, those caramel embers,
The world watches as you pass by,
Merely watching,
Unable to vocalize whats truly felt as your eyes carry the weight of the ocean,
I felt that looking at you,
The soft waves that lament the tone of your voice,
Softly coming, crashing against the shore,
Washing away any doubt, any fear that comes your way,
I saw that looking at you,
What are the words, how do you begin to say,
Those eyes,
The skin you wear,
A bride and groom, walking down the alter,
The world watches as you pass by,
The people stare, unable to comprehend,
As your eyes carry the weight of the ocean,
I saw that looking at you
