Exams Take Away The Good Years Of Our Life Poem by Daya Nandan

Exams Take Away The Good Years Of Our Life

Rating: 4.0

Exams are boring, tedious and tough,
Somehow all my studying is never enough,
Harder questions keep striking me with their knife,
So to prepare for exams i waste the good years of my life,

My books all piled up, towering on my table,
My mental state beginning to slowly get unstable,
Study, study, i must keep on studying hard,
Keep my exhausted mind focused, i cannot let down my guard,

Studying is a pain, the stress engulfs my soul,
The tiredness is like a vortex swallowing me whole,
So much to read up yet there is never enough time,
Exams keep me stressed, i don't know if i will be fine,

For a degree that is nothing more than a glorified receipt,
I have to walk through hell and still stand strong on my feet,
If you are sitting for an exam, best of luck to you,
Enjoy trying to score with colours that flew!
