Evil Tiding

Bad news
can surely
Spoil ones mood
Diminish your hope
Put your future plans on choke
Leaving a drifting feeling
In the atomsphere
No joke
If it wasnt for prayer
The only option
For most
Would be dope
However, due to a
Higher power
The Lord
God almighty
I can somehow cope
Have patience
In waiting
Yet continue to hope

poet Robert William Service

Just Home and Love! the words are small
Four little letters unto each;
And yet you will not find in all
The wide and gracious range of speech
Two more so tenderly complete:
