Evil Eye

Eye of emerald green
From which silvered tear flows
Flooding down
O’er icy frown
Longside of aquiline nose

Brow… sooty black
Perched above
Emerald eye unclosed
A nesting place
and alcove of…
A murder of coal black
crows

Match'd with an aged wife, I mete and dole
Unequal laws unto a savage race,
