Everybody needs someone.
Everybody needs a friend.
To run around with in the sun,
Someone on whom you can depend.

Everybody loves to hear,
That they're important, in some way.
Or have someone to dry a tear,
And help them make it through the day.

Everybody needs someone,
Everybody needs a choice
Who lets them talk until they're done,
And listen to their inner voice.

Everybody needs someone,
They can turn to everyday.
To listen to, or just have fun,
Each and every single day.
