Every Day: Poem by Sherry Painter

Every Day:

Rating: 5.0

Every day,
You came back,
Into my life,
Even if your not here in the flesh.

You have been gone for more than a year,
My days and night go slow
As I wait for you to come back,
But all I get, instead of you, are the memories you have left behind.

Each time I'd recover,
You'd came back,
And trash my mind again,
My heart,
Just right after I cleaned it from your earlier intrusion.
