Eversince You Had Left

Rating: 3.1

somehow these clouds
seem to come in my way
they neither rain nor float away
they always clutch at my eyes
causing the lids to droop
ever since you had left

these ears feel threatened
at the jarring sounds forced on
when all that they want to hear
is the gentle sway of wind
and musical rhythm of rain
you took away with you

this heart is always alert
not to miss that sudden flash
of light your presence may fill
to brighten the dark chambers
with rhythmic flow of light
it's left unlit ever since had you left

‘ever since had you left’…alters psychic parenchyma in myriad ways…and you’ve worded it in magnificent metaphor…thanks…Ma’am Ms. Nivedita UK 10/10
