Everlasting Poem by Liz Eckel

Everlasting

I still remember how we became friends,
We both had some similiar trends.

We became friends in first grade,
I was stuck in Donkey Kong 64,
but you were there to aid.

Afterwards,
we had moved on to Paper Mario,
a game that you had bought for me.
A true friendship then came to be.

Later the kids made fun,
Our friendship was then torn apart,
the world had won.

Years later,
it was the graduating year,
I came over to your group,
away from girls I had steered.

We became good friends,
and I have a feeling this friendship
will be everlasting.

Dedicated to Kenneth Gabriel Gallicchio
