Evening Shadows Fall Poem by David Harris

Evening Shadows Fall

After the evening shadows fall
and before the voices of the darkness
blight the blackness of night
there is a pause
when the world falls silent
and peace reins for all.
It is only for a few seconds,
but you can hear it
if you carefully listen.
The silence is for a moment
after the evening shadows fall.
