Even When I Tried Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Even When I Tried

Even when I tried green tree,
You wouldn't answer me.
I tried to warn you of pollution.
I couldn't find a solution.

Green trees of all sorts,
Come hear my tutelage.
Collect your multi-talents,
And clean your green leaves.

The trees spoke back to me,
That they couldn't any answer see.
And me a modern human be,
Couldn't see the solution.
