Eternity Is Now Poem by Chuy Amante

It wasn't then, it'll not be eventually...
When is it?
NOW

I knelt at the feet of a sage as a kid
not knowing why he was so 'interesting'
as the women in my village would say

Many things 'stuck'
'Eternity IS Now' he'd often say

Another sticker was,
'They've worked hard
for their ignorance,
let them have it! '

My little beloved dog was 'A man on vacation'

'love has no opposite, nor does light'

'Inner sight, inner hearing'

The crescendo was,
'God-centered awareness'

Sleep on those for a few years
They had to simmer in me for decades

The Light is getting brighter

The unknown sage that insisted it always stayed that way

Dropped his body in his 90s, ten years ago

I went to find his widow recently and could not

Eternity is now~

Past, Present and Future are ONE, God is ONE
