Eternal Healing Poem by Uriah Hamilton

Eternal Healing

Rating: 5.0

Darkness and tragedy,
Happiness and light,
Wealth and plenty,
Emptiness and poverty;

In the end,
Only kindness survives,
Only the love that is genuine.

Everything gradually disappears,
Our fondness and our fear,
Our dreams and our disappointments,
But our sympathy for others
Remains alive in the universe
And provides eternal healing.

You've hit on a spiritual truth. The love inside you is all you can take with you when you pass on, the only thing that's eternal.

Through our everyday actions in terms of how we treat others, and appreciate what life has to offer each one of us...rich or poor... in day's of comfort, day's of sorrow...Through this unequivocal gift from God...we provide our own enternal & eternal peace, and healing from any scathe our Life-Crosses level upon us. Very fine work, Uriah...and quite apropos on this 8th Anniversary of 9-11....PAX my friend! FjR
