Escapism (Full Length Spoken Word) Poem by Aziz Akrish

Escapism (Full Length Spoken Word)

I think to myself everyday, living in this world is just to decay.

I write this with full feelings, so you might find it appealing, almost reached the ceiling, but end up falling then heard the mouse squealing.

You may assume that there is abundance of good in the end, but it is a betrayal by a friend, I manage to extend after all these I ascend.

I escape from this reality because of sorrow, hoping it gets better morrow, but it ends up smoking another claro.

I say the simplest form of insanity is to be insane, being me is just a bane, dreaming about being a king so I can reign, but those fantasies are all in vain.

One day you are innocent, next day you find yourself far from innocence, let me put it to you in an another instance, find yourself in a different existence, that's my wish for I endear a far away distance.

Now you understand, or are you going to be bland, now I stand and face you to fight against the stance, let me give you another chance, to comprehend what I'm about to say here is another glance, I am going to advance, fighting you is just like reading a Gothic romance, you are in a trance, it was like a sword dance, I won in a open chance, took my lance, and stabbed when I glanced, won the game in France.
