Escaping Home Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Escaping Home

Nature, sitting atop a mountain, snow white peaks
caressing the sky and it's clouds.

Sliding down steep slopes, seeing animals scurrying
to their solo habitats.

Hiding away, protecting themselves from the cold
and wind, escaping singly into the homes that they
have built for themselves.
