Escape Poem by prabhakar bhatlekar

Escape

'You're free to dream! '
Guard's last words kept ringing...
forever.
He was led blindfold to this
darkness of ages.
Four stony walls and nothingness.
Sense of time froze in dark.
And then began phantasm,
a murmur, of someone around.
Faint thrilling tunes...
Is it a crazy game in this
timeless dark? Yes...no,
it can't be. But so soothing!
And a moment exploded light.
The room filled with bright
sunny shafts from all over.
Criss-crossing web moving
round forming shining whirlpool
tossing him on a bed of light.
