It's a prison, it has bound me, it has rooted me to the ground
I try to wriggle away, to run away, forget everything around
But it's grip is hard so I cant be let loose, it has held me down
so I rock on the cold rough surface, lulling a sleep, lips turned frown

Death tastes so sweet, like honey filled sugar, on my lips
but its out of reach, only can grab you, your bitter essence
Nerves have numbed, and all thoughts gone in overdrive
the only ones that show, are memories, of me and mostly you
