Escape Poem by Lidia Anderson

Escape

Chained and chackled with a blind fold on,
Naked laying on the the bed, all I want is my mom.
How did he trick me I was always so aware,
Now I'm going to die alone, cold, and motionless with that infamous death stare.
He's sick he twisted hw wants me as his own,
I've begged and pleaded I just want to go home.
I'm laying in the dark thinking of my mom,
And how it will kill her when she finds out I'm gone.
Mommy I want you, I'm sorry I was so dumb,
I should have listened when you told me to trust no one.
I was young and stupid you were right,
Now for my mistake I'm paying with my life.
