Epitaph Poem by Robert Uy

Epitaph

Rating: 4.5

Every one that has come
and gone in my life
are just passing acquaintances,

for I am sure to have made
the same number of enemies
as much as I’ve made friends.

I’ve not so much as touched
the lives of those I’ve loved
—my greatest regret is this.

So should, by chance, today
I pass away,
Sadly, I will not be missed.

Wow, this you write this for me too? I can relate to your sentiments... too real for me in fact... and you expressed the emotions of passiveness beautifully... Good job buddy! Indeed this is one good poem of introspection. Thanks for sharing! Eric

a good introspection well expressed...the only thing I suggest in the stanza 9 is something I can't comprehend...probably you want to write or say...my greatest regret is this....and stanza 10 can be...Should by chance, today.....that's only my suggestion...otherwise nothing more I noted...and the contents is beautiful...9
