Eons Ago Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Eons Ago

Eons Ago

I seemed now there was no time,
No time to think about.
No time to experience.
This was infinity.

A time ago,
The universe was born.
Then humanity did it scorn.
Now we don't know what to do.

I imagined eons ago,
It wasn't like that.
I wondered why we arrive,
At the space age so.

We're so compelled,
To control our environment,
It's temperament out of control.
This wasn't so eons ago.
