entre nous

let us whisper
of
the scyllabusted trust
of
the whisk-escaping particles
of
lambentickled dust
of
the wayfaring reminders
and
the you-could-have-been-kinders
and
the belabored rejoinders
to
the tunes of organ-grinders
while
the flippancies are tinder
for
the flames
that dance, so limber
on
the borders
of
the edges
perforating
weathered hedges
with
a newer cooing dovetailing
a truer song of love...sailing..........ya think? ?
