New missionaries
Arrive teary eyed in awe
Full of vibrant hope

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Entrance day, on the feast of The Little Flower Saint Therese, who is Patronness of the Missions, is a day when the new entrants face the unknown. They soon learn the need and the skill to integrate their fears, tears, hopes and prayers, and to bear in mind the promise of the Lord to be with us always.
