Enough Is Enough Poem by Daniela Joseph

Enough Is Enough

Everything is always my fault
I always have to play the adult
While you go off and spread your lies
Open your eyes
Listen to my cries
And you'll realize
It's not me that people despise

So run away, take your attitude with you
Your words, your actions, my pain,
they stick like glue

Just stay away from me
Enough is enough
Can't you see no one believes your bluff?

Talk about me
I don't care
I could ruin you
Any time
Anywhere

But I'm not, I'll be the better person
Now are you ready to open up and listen?

Life isn't a game
It's not for the fame
You cause me pain
Everyday? It rains

Suffer, tourcher, beaten, broken
In you presence, it's like I am choking

You cause so many people so much pain
Then you make me take all the blame

You yell, you cry, you told me to die
You lie
You make me sick
You make me cry

So have fun with your little game
Don't worry, it only causes me pain

So as I pull away I can't help but wonder
'So this is what it's like to clash with lightning and thunder'
