Enough Poem by Michelle Melody

Enough

Rating: 2.5

I've had enough Oh bearded man
I've had enough of lies
your self satisfied
your chains that you've tied
I've had enough of your plot to rule
your demons and cobwebs
the joker's fool
I've had enough
I will no longer fight
I'll ask yeah this
Are you happy
Are you glad
do your toes curl with pleasure
when you've taken the gentle
fragile wings of a peace lover
and broken it to pieces
all in the name of some 'Mother'
someone I don't know
never met
who not once showed her face
around my place
the fragile now a ton of lead
all that once bloomed for you and others
Dead.
