Engram Poem by Jovica Tasevski Eternijan

Engram

Rating: 4.5

When dark ice
fell on the cotton fields
of Adonai*

Engram**

Cherubim threaded
through the needles of the Black Dough
The light wings don't erode

Engram

Clear magma strikes
from the Mild Pupils
The Stony face cannot be eroded

Engram

The herds of heaven will pass over her shell
with their heavy hoofs
Will the dark axis swing

Engram

(Translated into English by Marija Girevska)

* Adonai (Hebrew) – Lord, my Lord; ancient Hebrew form of address to God.
** Engram - internal record; a permanent change of substance.
