Engagment Poem by Victoria Revier

Engagment

Poetry hides in the doubts of my heart
And the shadows of my soul
Where the darkness of hate provides cover
It hides between the lonely moments
Where it waits for an open mind
To bring it out of hibernation
And give it new life
Living in my heart as so many have attempted before
They would pronounce it unwise
Be the judge of your own life,
I shall grant you that gratification
One has done this before your time
Hiding in the smallest of coves
Loving me more than you ever will
Waiting for me,
Never can you do the same
Good luck and lots of love,
Mrs. P.
