Endless Poem by Juan Olivarez

Endless

Rating: 5.0

Endless miles of telephone wires,
Serpentining off to infinity.
Endless fields of cotton growing.
Far as the eye's can see.

Endless clouds roll to the west,
A vast assortment of faces,
Endless blue overhead, from horizon to horizon.
Endless days of summer.

Endless beauty of the stars,
On a sultry Texas night.
Endless light from long ago,
Of stars that ended before time.

Wow! Reading the lines gives me that same feeling I get when I have a chance to just watch the late afternoon sky and wait for the night to fall. :)
