End Of The Road Poem by Robert Page

End Of The Road

You didn't listen,
to my words of wisdom.
you never tried,
to find a way around.

You were eaten,
away inside.
you lost the way,
that's right.

You changed,
your tune.
you flew,
too soon.

You crossed,
my path.
you finished,
last.

You chose,
your way.
now you,
must pay.

You did not,
see the light.
you chose,
to fight.

You did,
not know.
you broke,
the flow.

You had,
your chance.
you kept,
your stance.

You can,
not flee.
you can,
not see.

You chose,
to go.
you did,
not know.

You ran away from what's right.
now you must pay the price.

It's the end of the road.
