End Of The Road Poem by Antonio Liao

End Of The Road

wait me not on the table of deep slumber, the
close eyes awake the faded sky to fly, Side by side
gripping every lip to bite in the silent moment of
the tongue, as it mesmerized every sweet journey
back to a place of where it begun

take me not to overturn the sublime option of
end-of-life adore believing that the resting place
is what matter most; an adieu of hibernation of
rest that holds every chances of faded honor
of the soul recall, oh woefully tears tore it apart,
ardently wish of a lucky day to come with me

step by step pump every pulse, transcending the
eyes that fall, even a simple breathe I can’t recall
for the heart is calling to a shameful devour, hear
oh repentance soul, sway this rightful envy, for
the guardian angel has come to pitch our destiny,
and touch me not my shoulder for I’ll then be happy

care as you teach my heart to cease me that I am
ready for that call, now as I lay down my head in the
soil I breathe, please bring me to the simple
sleep I humbly commit …….
