Shine light on the dark of tomorrow
Climb higher than the lows of today
As long as you escape your burden
You shall never return to the fray

Dance long in the sunlight of youth
And savour your time in its garden
For soon it is going to be time
To face the unbearable truth

Wishing for time you could borrow
And hopelessly trying to pray
For now you are surely certain
There is little that's left of the play

Frail now and long in the tooth
And knowing you are only to worsen
you start to hear a chime
it's time to finally let loose.
