Enchantments Poem by Taylor Hodges

Enchantments

Her skin
Brightened in pale light
The moon shone on, and
There he sat,
Entranced
Enamored
Enveloped at her sight.
She was a girl,
Long hair aglow.
Driven by dreams
With hypnotic crystal eyes.
His dark features,
Hunted,
Haunting, ever so
Opposing sides were they
Equal parts dark and light.
They danced like flames,
Fighting
Melting all in their paths.
Because...
That's what lovers do.
