En Un Jardin


Al decir que las penas son fugaces
En tanto que la dicha persevera,
Tu cara es sugestiva y hechicera
Y juegan a los novios los rapaces.

Al escuchar la apología que haces
Del mejor de los mundos, se creyera
Que lees a Abelardo… En voz parlera
Dialogas con los pájaros locuaces.

De pronto, sin que tu me lo adivines,
Cual por un sortilegio se contrista
Mi alma con la visión de los jardines,

Mientras oigo sonar plácidamente
Los trinos de tu plática optimista
Y el irisado chorro de la fuente.
