'Empty Room' Poem by Amy Lee

'Empty Room'

I sit at the edge of the mountain
Looking up at my fall
Broken like a fallen frame
I try to stand tall

A empty room posses me
As if I had no where to go
With my eyes I cannot see
The dancing bee in the show

Hoping it will save me on its wings
With the bird telling me 'no'
Upon my arm I feel a sting
A sting that leaves - 'no'

I don't want to be stuck in this empty room
The bee has betrayed me
Only to leave my ear with a boom
Left to hear the bird sing
