Emptiness Poem by Kailey Marie Abbott

Emptiness

Blank walls
Empty drawers
Photos ripped to shreds lying in a pile
Memories thrown away
My heart broken on the floor
I’ll never forget the emptiness in my life when you left
You took the color away
You took the love away
Now all I see is black and white
All I see is emptiness
It’s gone
The light
The color
The emotion
It’s all empty and I need you to bring it back
I need you with me
And without you all I feel is emptiness
