Empire Poem by Arwen Undomiel

Empire

Rating: 4.0

Strapped on my back like a dead weight,
A burden I never asked to carry.
Your broken dreams and broken lies,
You told me it’s only customary.
I beg to differ, for you never saw –
Within these fragile, tattered wings
I tore down your empire and watched you fall.
